We are currently seeking highly-qualified students at all levels and in  all areas.

The Institute for Space Research involves students at the  undergraduate, MSc, PhD, and post-doctoral  levels, and at all stages of our research, including:

-Scientific data analysis from ground and space-based instruments
-Arctic and sub-arctic field campaigns
-Instrument development, testing, and calibration

-Development of theoretical models

Students are funded through

-Teaching Assistantships in the Department of Physics and Astronomy 

-NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarships 

-Alberta Ingenuity Fund Graduate Scholarships

-Faculty research grants

Post-docs are supported by

-Research grants and contracts

-NSERC Post-doctoral Fellowships and related programs   

-Alberta Ingenuity Fund Post-graduate Fellowships
